Obituary of Charles "Chuck" Franklin Creswell
Mr. Charles “Chuck” Franklin Creswell, age 64, of Yatesville, Georgia, passed away on Friday, August 16, 2024.
Chuck was born on Sunday, December 13, 1959, in Abbeville, South Carolina. He was preceded in death by his father, Franklin Creswell; grandparents, Amos (Minnie Lee) Creswell and Izzie (Daisy) Barnes; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Donald (Carolyn) Bunn; and brother-in-law, Barry Bunn.
Chuck was known by many as Mr. Woodman, as he enjoyed wood working and built custom cabinets from 1978 - 2010. During his free time, he enjoyed singing, farming, cooking BBQ, and riding his John Deere tractor. Chuck loved spending time with his family and was always very eager for the Georgia Bulldog football season. He was a member of Mountain Gap Church and loved the Lord.
Chuck is survived by his wife of 24 years, Donna Bunn Creswell; sons and daughter-in-law, Nicholas Creswell, Adam Creswell, Josh (Amanda) Creswell; grandchildren, Atticus, Josie, Cadence, Ella, Jolie; mother, Martha Creswell; brothers and sister-in-law, Gregg Creswell, Dewayne (Jodie) Creswell, brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Todd (Donna) Bunn, and Linda Bunn, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services for Mr. Chuck Franklin Creswell will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at Mountain Gap Pentecostal Church, 2746 Pine Valley Road, The Rock Georgia 30285. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until the hour of service.
