Obituary of Brody Asa Denton

Brody Asa Denton, age 15, of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024.

Brody was born on Monday, September 29, 2008, in Thomaston, Georgia, to Wayne Lewis Denton and Amanda Louise Denton, he was proceeded in death by his grandfathers, Asa Lewis Denton, Merrill Cauthen.

Brody had love for everyone around him and he knew exactly how to show it with unconditional protection and acts of service. If you were in need of anything he was there to lend a helping hand. Although his greatest love has always been the outdoors. Hunting, fishing, and riding ATV’s with family and friends was his happy place. He was an extraordinary young man and will always hold a special place in the hearts of friends and family.

Brody is survived by his parents; Wayne Lewis Denton, Amanda Louise Denton; sister Chelsea Johnson (Vincent); brothers, Raymond Denton (Jessica), Josh Denton and Katey Turner; nieces, Haley, Caylee, Audrey, Ayla, Blakeley; nephews, Conner, Parker, Cory; grandmothers, Sybil Denton, Louise Cauthen; several aunts, uncles, cousins.

A Funeral Service for Brody Asa Denton will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. at Breedlove Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at the Williams- Westbury Funeral Home.
