Obituary of Miriam Tyus Hardman
Mrs. Miriam Tyus Hardman, age 79 of Thomaston, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024. Miriam was born on Wednesday, June 27, 1945, in Milner, Georgia to the late James Drewery Tyus Sr., and the late Wynona Bevil Tyus. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband Robert Hardman Sr; brother, James Drewery Tyus Jr; great nephew James Kosar; great niece Jessica Christine Grant; nephew, Robert Richter.
Miriam was a Milner High School graduate. She loved living on the lake with her late husband that they created with loving hands through the years. Being outdoors is what she loved the most, and loving her dogs gave her so much joy. She loved spending quality time with her family and friends.
Miriam is survived by her sisters; Molly Tyus Shiver, Lynda Tyus Richter; stepsons, Robert Hardman Jr (Hilda), Ronnie Hardman (Alice); stepdaughter, Robin Heath (David); step grandchildren, Brandy Montano (Gilbert), Jonathan Heath (Nicki), Lindsay Mikesch (Doug);10 great step grandchildren; nieces, Wanda Shiver Grant, Patricia Shiver Hester; great nieces, Caroline Madison Grant, Molly Macenzie Hester; nephew; Joseph Kosar.
A funeral service for Mrs. Miriam Tyus Hardman will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 31, 2024, in Breedlove Memorial Chapel with Reverend Jason Teal officiating. Interment will follow in Milner Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may visit the family from 10:00 A.M. til 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
