Mr. Roger Karl Hollandsworth, age 84, of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

 

Roger was born on Wednesday, April 3, 1940, in Clarksburg, West Virginia, to the late Pearl Garland Hollandsworth and the late Ruby Beatrice Hollandsworth. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Ann Fenton, brothers, John Hollandsworth, David Hollandsworth, stepdaughter, Michelle Parker.

 

Roger was a dedicated husband and loved his family. He graduated from Gordon Military College. He was dedicated to the Church.

 

Roger is survived by his wife; Charlene Hollandsworth; son, Roger Hollandsworth Jr (Deborah); daughter, Vicki Forsyth (Glenn); stepdaughter, Valerie Pancharian (Mike); grandchildren, Matthew Forsyth (Ashley), Ryan Hollandsworth, Andrew Forsyth (Becky), Emily McLaughlin (Patrick), Evan Hollandsworth; great-grandchildren, James Forsyth, Scarlett McLaughlin, Juliette McLaughlin,

Catie Beth Forsyth, Emmie Re Forsyth; sisters, Donna Williamson, Rebecca Day; 7 step grandchildren; 5 step great-grandchildren; fur baby, Pocket. Several nieces, nephews and extended family.

 

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday November, 24, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Cornerstone Baptist Church.
