Obituary of Joy Ann Lachance Kendrick

Mrs. Joy Ann Kendrick, age 63, of Panacea, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her family.

 

Joy was born on Saturday, September 9, 1961, in Worcester, Massachusetts, to the late Wilfrid Lachance and the late Dian J. Packard Lachance.

 

Joy loved spending time at the beach, enjoyed crafting and looking for antiques in her spare time. She was a devoted Special Ed K-5 School Teacher for over 29 years, where she retired from Lamar County School system.

 

Joy is survived by her husband; Mike Kendrick; daughter, Caitlin Whipple; sons, Joshua & Heather Kendrick, Mike & Jenna Kendrick; 3 grandchildren; brother, Richard Lachance.

 

A Graveside Funeral Service for Mrs. Joy Ann Kendrick will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at 3:00 P.M. in Greenwood Cemetery with Amanda Westbury officiating. Friends may visit the family on Sunday, November 24, 2024, from 1:00 P.M. until 2:45 P.M. at the Williams-Westbury Funeral Home.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested to make donations in Memory of Joy Ann Kendrick to dollygoodpuppy.org
