Jessi,
You were one of my first friends when we were little and when you moved here from Florida. Pure devastation when hearing that you were no longer on this earth with us. I remember getting dropped off at your sweet parents house with the big field and the fun “cabin” as I remember. We were such silly little girls, innocent, and happy. A way I will always remember you.
That one time on the playground when you fell on the monkey bars and bit through your tongue! I rushed to get a teacher and they took you to the hospital. My mama brought me by your house that afternoon so we could check on you.
Throughout the years we were in separate grades so we didn’t get to grow as close as we once were, but we both were always delighted when seeing one another. We recently just shared our “grown up” lives with one another, having kids, being with someone we love. And I am so happy we did. I love you for you and thank you for the impact you had on my childhood.
They say everything happens for a reason and that is something I try to believe. Even when it is things such as loss, sadness, or grief. The world can still be happy we just have to adapt to the new, and find the blessings to get us through it. Be thankful for the times we shared and pray for Jessi’s loved ones.
To Jessi’s parents, thank you for all of your kindness and instilling that into Jessi. I can’t imagine what you’re feeling and I hope that you are able to find peace.

Jessi, it's truly astonishing to realize that three and a half years have passed since our journey began. I often find myself reflecting on that first real conversation we had, sitting together on that couch, where you, ever the enthusiastic matchmaker, took it upon yourself to play Cupid in my life. From that moment, it became clear that you had a gift for connecting with people, and that kindness and bright light defined our time together. I will forever treasure those late-night drives along the backroads in the "hoe" runner as we blasted our favorite songs, a joyous soundtrack to our carefree adventures. There were countless evenings when we would find ourselves in quirky, random bars, surrounded by strangers who, somehow, felt like friends. We would engage in conversations with the regulars, listening to their intriguing stories of life, love, and everything in between, creating a sense of community wherever we went. Those spontaneous moments when we decided to break into song and dance in the aisles of some random store will always bring a smile to my face. The surprised and curious stares from other shoppers only added to the joy, turning those everyday errands into escapades. Each laugh and mischievous grin during those impromptu performances reminded me of the vibrant spirit you brought into my life. Our kayaking trips stand out as another highlight of our shared adventures. With every stroke of the paddle, we ventured into new territories on whichever lake or river we discovered that was close by. Whether we were fishing, exploring the hidden nooks along the shoreline, or simply soaking in the beauty of nature that surrounded us, those days created memories I will forever hold close to my heart. And how could I ever forget those delightful phone calls and snaps every time it snowed? Your childlike excitement brought warmth to even the coldest of days, as if the world outside was sprinkled with magic. Looking back three and a half years ago, I never could have imagined finding my twin flame in you. You transformed from a simple acquaintance into my ride or die, my "Let's do it" girl, and ultimately the best adventure partner I could have ever hoped for. You became someone I never knew I needed, yet you filled an important space in my life. Thank you for being all of those things and more, truly a source of light and love that brightened my days. I promise to honor the legacy you’ve created for your little one by carrying forward the joy, spontaneity, and love you brought into my life. I will share those moments with them, hoping to inspire the same sense of adventure and wonder you imparted to me.

Jessi was unapologetically her own person. She beat to her own drum, she did not care what ANYONE thought or said. She brought joy to anyone and everyone she met, and she loved with her entire heart. She was truly the most beautiful human I’ve met, inside and out. She showed me that life is so much more than the day to day. She taught me that regardless of the circumstances you have to GET UP. She was a shoulder to cry on, and a friend when I had none. She took me and my baby in and loved us both like we were her own family. Always 10 toes down, ready to go, because that’s who she was. She loved fiercely and without circumstance. Jessi, thank you for being you. I'll light all the candles and watch Alexa & Katie just like we did every single day, I’ll even listen to some Lauren Daigle for you. Rest easy beautiful.

Jessi, I don’t even know where to begin, besides saying I honestly would have Never thought that I would be making this kind of post. You were always full of life, you always had the kind of smile that would light up a room. You were always nice to me when others wasn’t. Out of the years of knowing you from 4H, Softball to Mr. Ritch’s class, to Graduation! You were one of my best friends growing up. I know we lost connection after graduation. I wish we would have stayed connected. I can’t believe your gone already. Life is way too short. I may not remember a whole lot, but I will always cherish the memories we had together!
