Obituary of Angela Rooks

Mrs. Angela Denise Abbott Rooks, age 56, of Barnesville passed away Monday, May 11, 2009 in an Upson County Healthcare Facility. A lifelong resident of Lamar County, Mrs. Rooks, along with her husband, Neil, were the owners/operators of Rooks Heating & Air. Mrs. Rooks was a member of Rock Springs Church. Survivors include: Her husband, Mr. Neil Rooks of Barnesville ; Her Children, Shanda Moore, and her husband Jerry; Kevin Rooks, and his wife, Nikee; Jeremy Rooks, and his wife Allison; Nathaniel Rooks, and his wife, Jana; Bethany Smith, and her husband Ray; David Rooks; and Jordan Rooks ; her parents, Sandy and Dot Abbott ; her sister, Rhonda Miller, and her husband Freddy ; 6 Grandchildren ; Father-in-law & Mother-in-law, James and Mildred Rooks ; Numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Funeral Services for Mrs. Denise Abbott Rooks will be conducted Friday afternoon at 5 O’Clock in Rock Springs Church with Dr. Benny Tate, Frank Abbott, and Dr. Mike Ruffin officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Thursday, May 14, 2009 from 7pm until 9pm.
