Obituary of Paula Gay
Mrs. Paula Louise Gross Gay, age 50, of Thomaston passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2013 in an Upson County Healthcare Facility. A native of Upson County, Mrs. Gay was the daughter of the late Mr. Bud Gross and the late Mrs. Sarah Jane Jones Noell, and was also preceded in death by a brother, Tony Gross, by a sister, Norma Selph, and by a niece, Reva Gravil. Mrs. Gay was a member of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Gay is survived by 3 daughters - Tonja Barrack (& Kristopher) of Thomaston, Regina Roberts (& Jared) of Thomaston, & Tisha Britton of Thomaston ; 3 Sons - Kenny Jerome Gay (& Heather) of Juliette, Michael Gay of Washington State, & Christopher Jackson of Alabama ; 4 Brothers - James Gross of Griffin, George (& Janie) Gross of Alabama, Mark Gross of West Point, & Lee (& Frances) Gross of Pike County ; 7 Sisters - Jeanette (& Jerry) Vonner of Hamilton, Barbara (& Larry) Moore of Pine Mountain, Margie (& Mike) Jones of Thomaston, Elizabeth Corley of Pike County, Doris (& Jimmy Ray) Henley of Thomaston, Martha (& Steve) Long of Thomaston, & Jackie (& Terry) Gravil of Thomaston ; 7 Grandchildren - Kassie Barrack, Haley Roberts, Zachary Roberts, Cameron Roberts, Paisley Gay, Aubrey Wright, & Levi Wright, Special Nieces - Michelle Chauncey, Kim Whatley, Connie O'Neal, & Amanda Clark of Thomaston, and Kelly Henley of Williamson ; Special Nephews - Joshua Gravil of Florida, and Ricky Chauncey of Thomaston, numerous other relatives, and a special friend, Jill Jackson.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Paula Gross Gay will be conducted Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 11 O'Clock in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home with Interment to follow in The Community Faith Church Cemetery in Thomaston. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Friday, July 26, 2013 from 3pm -5pm.
The family has requested, that in lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to assist with burial expenses.
