Obituary of Betty Jean Smith
Mrs. Betty Jean Bishop Smith, age 57, of Milner passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2013 at her residence. Mrs. Smith was born in Barnesville to the late Mr. William Edward Bishop and the late Mrs. Delores Faye Nelson Bishop. She was a member of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her Husband - Tommy Smith of Milner ; 3 Children – Karen Jean Radford (& Randy) of Barnesville, Teresa Lee Smith of Milner, & Felicia Jean Smith of Milner ; 3 Grandchildren – Makena Rose Radford, Ireland Grace Radford, & Willow Aspen Radford ; 2 Sisters – Marie Maxwell (& Danny) & Sandra Dobeck (& Eddy) ; 2 Brothers – Freddy Bishop (& Stacey) & Billy Bishop ; Brothers–in–law & Sisters–in–law – Mark A. Smith (& Renee J.) of Griffin; Frankie Brady; Denise Brady; & several others ; Mother–in–law – Jean Dale Brady ; Nieces & Nephews – Tammy York, Samantha Andrews (& Ant), A.J. Andrews, LaTray Andrews, Destin Maxwell, Katie Maxwell, Jamie Maxwell (& Elizabeth), Michael Bishop (& Phelicia), April Carter, Christy, Savannah, & Tyler Smith, & numerous other Bishops and Smiths also survive.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Betty Jean Smith will be conducted Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at 2 O’Clock in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. Franklin Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in Lamar Memory Gardens. The Family will receive friends at Williams Funeral Home on Tuesday evening, August 6, 2013 from 6pm until 8pm.
