A short note to offer a bit of consolation on the death of your mother, Martha.
I lost my mother a few years okay, and I still remember the feeling of loss and pain. I can only empathize and try to understand the loss you are now facing. But I would remind you of the faith you yourself must have voiced many times in situations of loss.
When a loved one dies, we feel the death of love, at least in part. And even our faith might appear meaningless at this time. But keep the faith. Your mother, like all who go before us, is now at rest in the Kingdom where she now knows what we can only hope. The love of God will not let death be the final answer to our existence. We will see one another again.
Know of my prayers and good wishes for you, especially at this time. I thank you once again for your service to the people of God and if I can be of any assistance to you in your grieving process, please do not hesitate to call on me.
