Obituary of Betty Sullivan

Mrs. Betty Louise Samples Sullivan, age 75, of Milner passed away Sunday, June 28, 2009 at her residence. Mrs. Sullivan was a native of Fulton County, but had made her home in Lamar County for a number of years. Daughter of the late Mr. And Mrs. Dewel Samples, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Charles Lindly Sullivan. Mrs. Sullivan was a Home Maker, and had attended both Bethel Baptist Church and Milner Baptist Church in Milner. Survivors include: 6 Sons, Ricky Darnell and his wife, Phyllis, of Ider, AL, Mike Darnell and his wife, Mary, of Barnesville, Tommy Sullivan and his wife, Tammy, of Dublin, Greg Sullivan of Milner, Chucky Sullivan of Milner, & Chris Sullivan and his wife, Tammy, of Milner ; 4 Brothers, Robert Samples, Walter Samples, Charles Samples, & Hoyt Samples, all of Austell ; 1 Sister, Mary Frances Chasteen of Austell ; 11 Grandchildren ; & 13 Great Grandchildren also survive. Funeral Services for Mrs. Betty Sullivan will be conducted Thursday, July 2, 2009 at 11 O’Clock in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home with Reverend Franklin Gibson officiating. Interment will be Thursday afternoon, at 2 O’Clock in the College Park Cemetery in College Park, GA. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 from 6pm until 8pm. Williams Funeral Home of Barnesville is in charge of arrangements.
