Obituary of Carol Goolsby

Mrs. Carol Jane Huckeba Goolsby, age 63, of Yatesville passed away November 15, 2013 at her residence. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Mr. Isaac Lee Huckeba and the late Mrs. Thelma Aline Buchanan Huckeba. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Mr. James Franklin Goolsby. She worked with Bonsal American as a customer service manager for 41 years and attended Antioch Baptist Church. Survivors include:5 Daughters- Toni Hodge of Harmony, North Carolina, Deborah Brown of Lineville, Alabama, Nicki Payne of Thomaston, Cynthia Tapley of Lineville, Alabama, and Amanda Sowards of Surfside Beach, South Carolina: 14 Grandchildren- Michael, Bobby, Mitchell, Kathryn, David, Hannah, Matthew, Brandon, Cody, Enan, Katelynn, Cortlynn, Destin, & Bryce: 2 Great Grandsons- Anthony & Ayden: 3 Sisters- Debbie DeLong of Rex, Jane Worley of Griffin, and Joyce Baswell of Lake Weiss, Alabama: 2 Brothers- Eddie Huckeba of Greenback, Tennessee, and Joe Buchanan of Yatesville. Funeral services for Mrs. Carol Goolsby will be conducted Sunday, November 17, 2013 at 2 O’ Clock in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home with Reverend Wanda Goolsby Hardin officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Saturday, November 16, 2013 from 3pm to 5pm.
