Obituary of Tommie McKinley

Mrs. Tommie Lee Bunn McKinley, age 74, of Barnesville, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2013 in a Lamar County Healthcare Facility. Mrs. McKinley was born October 28, 1939 to the late Mr. Thomas Drewy Bunn and the late Mrs. Gladys Buice Bunn. She is also preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Anglin, a sister, Mary Dawson, and her grandson, Matt Wood. She worked at Aldora Mills as a re-spooler. Survivors include her 2 sons- Bobby (& Deanna) Wood of Yatesville, and Josh (& Nichol) McKinley of Thomaston: 2 sisters- Lorene Akins of Griffin, and Betty B. (& Julian) Wright of Barnesville: 8 grandchildren- Tabitha Barnes, Amy Anderson, Andy Whitehurst, Scott Wood, Eugene Wood, Alana Wood, T.J. Wood, and Zoie Fowler: 4 great grandchildren- Jacob Daniel, Tiffany Anderson, D.J. Anderson, and Eva Peppers. Funeral services for Mrs. Tommie McKinley will be conducted Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at 2 O’ Clock in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home with the Reverend Walter Stafford and the Reverend Clarence Cravey officiating. Interment will follow in Lamar Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at Williams Funeral Home.
