Rick and family, How sad we were to learn that "Pop" had been killed in an accident. He was such a wonderful, loving person who always had a kind word for everyone. In rememberance of a very special man that I was glad to call my FRIEND, Mr. Williams was always there to greet me with a smile when I would come into the funeral home to deliver the flowers, no matter where I saw him he would always ask "Are you going to do any work today?" That was what I loved about him, he was always in a humorous mood. He will be missed by many. Keeping you all in my prayers.

I worked with Mr. Williams for six years when he was a County Commissioner. Mr. Williams was a very good Commissioner who always tried to do the best for the County and it's citizens. I never saw him mad or upset even when things didn't go good, he just always tried to do his best. Mr. Williams was a good man and a good friend, he will be missed. My prayers and sympathies are with the family. This county will miss him.

Rick, I was so sorry to hear about your father. I had met him several times when I sang at funerals and when he would work with Sherrell Funeral Home on occasions. I know this was all such a shock to you. He was a part of my grandson's funeral arrangements with Sherrell's because my son lived in Barnsville. I remember how sweet they all were to our family. My prayers and thoughts are very much with you tonight. Mr. Williams has been a tremendous help to me during my time of loss, and the troubles that I've had since then. He has gone beyond the call of duty in everything that he has handled for my family. He is a blessing to me, and to this community, and will be sorely missed. I had just spoken with Mr. Williams a couple of hours before his passing, and he was in his usual helpful spirit, offering "family" to my family. God bless you all, family!

My family and I wish to relate how very sorry we are to hear of Mr. Williams' death. Mr. Jamie was a very special man who took his profession seriously. He said that God called him to it, and he was there to help others in their difficult times.
