Obituary of Virginia Altig

Ms. Virginia Claire Battin Altig, age 68, of Barnesville passed away on Friday, April 25, 2014 in a Lamar County healthcare facility. Ms. Altig was born on April 26, 1945 in Springfield, Illinois, to the late Mr. Harold Wilborn and the late Mrs. Bertha Virginia Carlson Wilborn. She was preceded in death by her Aunt Frieda Wilson and her Uncle Bill Wilson. Ms. Altig worked for CVS Pharmacy in Barnesville. She loved her family, and she loved to travel. Survivors include: 1 Son – James Altig of Barnesville ; 2 Grandchildren – Brandon Altig of Barnesville and Brittany Altig of Lovejoy; 1 Sister – Marshia Watts of Springfield Illinois; 1 Brother – Charlie Wilborn of Springfield Illinois ; several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
