Obituary of Doris Thomson

Mrs. Doris Marie Quatkemeyer Thomson, age 83, of Barnesville passed away Thursday, December 3, 2009 at her residence. She was born to the late Mr. John Fredrick Quatkemeyer and Mrs. Mamie Elizabeth Blount Quatkemeyer. She was preceded in death by her husband Mr. Maurice Wilbur Thomson. Mrs Thomson was a Homemaker and a member of the Catholic Faith. Survivors include 2 Sons- Dale (& Kathy) Thomson of Arlington, TX, & Wayne Thomson of McDonough, GA ; Four Daughters – Linda Fazekas of Douglasville, Kathleen (& Steve) Vernier of Phoenix, AZ, Maurina (& Thomas) Teem of Milner, & Mary (& Greg) Lee of Barnesville ; 1 Sister - Mary Louise (& Jerry) McDonough of Maineville, OH ; Brother - Neil (& Kathy) Quatkemeyer of Security, CO. 9 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great great grandchildren ; & Niece - Donna (&Phil) Estle of Cincinnati, OH. Funeral Services for Mrs. Doris Marie Quatkemeyer Thomson will be held on Tuesday December 8, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home. Interment will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Sherwood Memorial Park in Jonesboro, GA.
