Obituary of Ida Daniel

Mrs. Ida Mae Watts Daniel, age 93, of Barnesville passed away Thursday, January 28, 2010 in a Spalding County Healthcare Facility. Mrs. Daniel was born on April 26, 1916, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late Mr. Joseph Bright Watts and the late Mrs. Lucy Mae Kemp Watts. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Mr. John Daniel, and by a Daughter, Mrs. Margo Conser. Mrs. Daniel was a Home Maker and a member of Rock Springs Church. Survivors include: 3 Daughters - Mrs. Jan Sherwood (& Richard) of Barnesville ; Mrs. Sharyn Hancock (& David) of Barnesville ; & Mrs. Kathy Reborn (& John) of Forest Park ; 1 Sister - Hazel Manus ; 10 Grandchildren ; 20 Great Grandchildren ; 15 Great Great Grandchildren ; & A Number of Nieces and Nephews. Funeral Services for Mrs. Ida Mae Daniel will be conducted Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 11 O’Clock in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home with the Reverend Mike Davis and the Reverend Jay Tenney officiating. Interment will be held Saturday afternoon (1-30-10) at 2 O’Clock in the Park Hill Cemetery in Columbus, GA. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Friday evening (1-29-10) from 6pm until 8pm. The family requests, that in lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
