Obituary of Nell Crawford

Mrs. Peggy “Nell” Wilson Crawford, age 77, of Barnesville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 26, 2016 in a Spalding County Healthcare Facility. A lifelong resident of Lamar County, she was the daughter of the late Mr. Sam Wilson and the late Frances Louise Jackson Wilson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Bobby Linwood Crawford, a sister, Molly Wilson Compton, and a brother, Jack A. Wilson. Mrs. Crawford was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church of Yatesville, and Retired from the Inspect & Fold Department of The William Carter Company. She enjoyed attending Antioch Senior Citizens, Gordon Classmate Reunion and Carter’s Retirees Luncheons. Mrs. Crawford is survived by: her daughters, Renee’ Crawford, Rhonda Pelt (and husband Kip), son Robert Crawford, granddaughters, Kendal Conklin (and husband Michael), Katie Pelt (and finance Jay Moltrum), and sister Judy Wilson Kitchings, and extended family. Funeral Services for Mrs. Nell Crawford will be conducted Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at 1:30pm in the Antioch Baptist Church with Dr. Jeff Morgan and Dr. Benny Tate officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the Fellowship Hall. Graveside services will be private.
