Obituary of Frances Milam

Mrs. Frances Louise Ballard Milam, age 87, of Barnesville passed away on Friday, February 5, 2010 at her residence. Mrs. Milam was a native of Pike County, but made her home in Barnesville for a number of years. Mrs. Milam was born to the late Mr. William Powell Ballard and the late Mrs. Susie Davis Ballard. Mrs. Milam was also preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Mr. Henry James Milam, by her Son-in-Law, Mr. Bobby Butler, by 7 Brothers, and by 2 Sisters. Mrs. Milam was a homemaker, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Barnesville. Survivors include- Daughters - Sue Dunbar (& Jimmy) of Barnesville ; Linda Butler Rainey (& Dan) of Barnesville ; Lisa (& Doug) Tuttle of Barnesville ; 1 Son - Jim (& Robin) Milam of Barnesville ; 9 Grandchildren - Rhett (& Betsy) Butler of Athens ; Rob (& Amy) Butler of Atlanta ; Davis (& Colleen) Dunbar of Avondale Estates ; Jennie (& Rick) Diamond of Ridgewood, NJ ; Betsy (& Blair) Cleveland of Macon ; Douglas Tuttle of Atlanta ; William (& Brandy) Tuttle of Barnesville ; Josh Milam of Barnesville ; & Holly Milam of Barnesville ; 10 Great Grandchildren ; 1 Sister - Bena Williamson ; 2 Sisters-in-Law - Mary Ballard ; & Betty Ballard ; & A Faithful Caregiver - Rose Hugh. Funeral Services for Mrs. Frances Milam will be conducted from the Graveside on Sunday, February 7, 2010 at 3:15pm in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Sunday afternoon (2-7-10) from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm, immediately prior to the service.
