Obituary of Christine Pearman

Mrs. Mary Christine Lovvorn Pearman, age 84, of Barnesville, Georgia passed away February 21 at her home. Mrs. Pearman was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joe Center Pearman, whom she was married to for 63 years. Born on July 26, 1931, she was the youngest of four daughters born to the late Vollie Thomas Lovvorn and Jewel Jennings Lovvorn. Mrs. Pearman actively served her community and was a member of the Azalea Garden Club. She proudly joined Barnesville First United Methodist Church in 1956. She enjoyed careers as a secretary and a shop owner, however her greatest joys came from her time spent at home caring for and loving her family. Her legacy survives through her children Marybeth Stone (Mark), Joe Reid Pearman (Joanne) and Maureen York (Bobby); grandchildren Kristen Lane (Rik), Meredith Tsebetzis (Artie), Mac Pearman and Allison York; and two great grandchildren Rhett and Jack Lane. Mrs. Pearman also leaves behind her beloved sister in law, Mrs. Faye Pearman, who resides in Virginia with her family. Funeral services for Mrs. Christine Pearman will be held Tuesday, February 23 at Barnesville First United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall at 12:30 PM with the services to follow at 2 PM with Reverend Jay Tenney officiating. Also participating in the service are Pastor Garth Forester and Reverend Dana Overton-Garrett. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Williams Funeral Home is serving the Pearman family.
