Obituary of Mae Mann

Mrs. Mae Jean Seymour Mann, age 87, of Barnesville, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2016 in a Spalding County Healthcare facility. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Earnest Alfred Seymour, Sr. and the late Mrs. Willie Mae Duncan Seymour. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Morris Mann and her son, Eddie Mann. Mrs. Mann retired as a Seamstress from the William Carter Company, and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was active in church and Women’s Missionary Union for over 50 years, until she was no longer able. She loved flowers and gardening. Survivors include her 3 Daughters- Gloria Hayes (& Windsor) of Cary, NC, Bobbi Coates (& Norman) of Dallas, TX, Brenda William (& Mark) of Griffin ; 3 Sisters- Annie Ruth Rigas, Faye Gatliff, and Sue Jones; 5 Grandchildren- Bryan Hayes of Apex, NC, Chad Hayes of Holly Springs, NC, Michael Shurley of Ft. Worth, TX, Barbi McCulloch of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Brooke Mihalek of Franklin, TN; 6 Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services for Mrs. Mae Mann will be conducted Sunday, May 8, 2016 at 3 O’clock at Calvary Baptist Church with the Reverend Allen Newman officiating. Interment will follow in Lamar Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at Calvary Baptist Church on Sunday, May 8, 2016 from 2pm until the service hour.
