Obituary of Charles Bartlett

Mr. Charles Warren Bartlett, age 76, of Barnesville passed away Sunday, March 7, 2010 in an Upson County Healthcare Facility. Mr. Bartlett was born in Butler, Georgia, as the son of the late Mr. Warren Rhodes Bartlett and the late Mrs. Blannie Bush Bartlett, and had made his home in Barnesville for a number of years. Mr. Bartlett Retired from Robins Air Force Base as a Sheet Metal Worker, and was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Bartlett was baptized in 1962 in his home church, Midway Baptist Church, in Barnesville. Survivors include- His wife of 53 years – Mrs. June Bartlett of Barnesville ; 3 Daughters - Judy Elaine Williams (& Danny) of Barnesville ; Ginger Liline Tant (& Terry) of Barnesville ; & Amy Lisa Dawson (& David) of Barnesville ; 3 Grandchildren – Jeremiah Whitley Tant of Barnesville ; Hannah Rebekah Dawson of Athens ; & Caleb David Dawson of Barnesville ; 1 Sister – Mrs. Jimmie Claire Tenney of Barnesville ; Special Sisters-in–law – Josie Taylor & Shirley Watts (&David); 1 Brother-in-law – Jimmy Haywood (& Debbie) ; & Several Nieces and Nephews. Funeral Services for Mr. Charles Bartlett will be conducted Friday, March 12, 2010 at 2 O’Clock in the Midway Baptist Church in Barnesville. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Thursday, March 11, 2010 from 7:00pm until 9:00pm.
