Mike, Roland, Coach Sanders and I loved your dad more than you could ever understand. You know, all the past years of growing up and playing ball together your dad was a man that I admired and you didn’t know this but I often sought out his counsel before a game. He always found the words to guide and comfort me through the years and I will always be grateful. Mike, growing up I considered you to be like a brother and to this day I still do. You are in my thoughts often and our childhood friendship from years past still stands strong today. Mr. Casto was a good and great man that I looked up to and admired and I’m sure he would want our friendship to start again and maybe even one day pick up our gloves and well… play some ball. I’d like to see if you still have your signature knuckle ball that no one could catch or hit;) lol Guys, I’m truly sorry for your loss and my prayers are with you.
