Dot Foshee was one the most truly authentic women I have ever known. Our entire family adored her and admired her. One day, knowing that she was suffering from a painful hip condition, I asked her, "Dot, how do you always manage to stay so cheerful?" Without a moment's hesitation, Dot answered in her usual peppy way: "Well, I just think you're happier that way! Don't you?" I will never forget that moment, and it has inspired me ever since. To all the Foshee family: our extended family is celebrating the amazing and joy-filled life of your beautiful mother

Mrs. Foshee was my 5th grade homeroom teacher at Thomaston St. School. She was always so friendly and encouraging to all her students. I'll always remember her smile and the way she wore her glasses on a little necklace with her sweater draped around her shoulders.

I'm sorry I'm a little behind. I just read about Ms. Foshee's death. She was a sweet and kind lady. My family was very fond of her and I know she was loved by many in the community. Thank you, Edwin, for taking such good care of her all these years. She will be greatly missed and again I'm sorry for your loss.
