My condolences to the family and all who loved Laura. The seeming finality of death is what makes it especially difficult. But we can have confidence that God yearns to bring back to life the dead who are preserved in his memory. (Job 14:14,15) His Word, the Bible, gives us a wonderful hope of living in a paradise on earth and seeing the resurrection of our dead loved ones. (Luke 23:43; John 5:28,29) May this bring you some comfort.

I am so saddened to read of Laura's passing, Laura was truly an amazing young lady, the very best Nurse you could ever have, to lose Laura is a great loss, not only to her friends and family , but the Medical Field will be missing a great Nurse. I worked with Laura Sue occassionally on the OB floor at Upson Regional and found her to be one of the sweetest people . She was so pleasant and made everyone feel important. She led the team and was a fantastic nurse. And it has blessed my heart to see the love between her and Kelly. Such a beautiful romance written in words and how truly blessed they both were.

Dear Fleming Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Unfortunately, Elayna and I will not be able to attend the services, but we wanted to send our condolences. Elayna and I often talk about the day we visited Laura Sue and Kelles in the hospital. We had a great time! This was the first time my wife Elayna met Kelles and Laura Sue and they hit it off right away. Laura Sue kept us laughing during the entire time as she talked about her short hair and the "pimped out" golf cart she owned. She was very up beat and positive. The interaction that day with Laura Sue and Kelles left us with a lasting positive memory of her; one that we will cherish forever! We are honored to have known her.

It’s harder than you think to find someone battling leukemia with a smile on their face...even under a mask. With hair or without hair. That was Laura Sue. We kept each other company before and after transplants often getting fussed at for visiting when one of us was in isolation. God has taken away all her cancer, and welcomed her to heaven. I’m a better person for fighting alongside Laura Sue. I will miss her Laura Sue. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. She loves y’all like crazy! The day Kelly brought Laura into my life is a day I will never forget. Her smile was so contagious.
