Please accept our heartfelt expressions of sympathy in the loss of Matt. As a classmate (1992), Matt always possessed a kind, humble spirit. Despite the many years that have passed, he never lost those special qualities. We almost shared a birthday (only 1 day apart), and we often talked about how quickly they seem to come now. Our families have been connected for many years, and we share with you in the sadness of this difficult time. I am so saddened to hear this. I met Matt whilst in college at Gordon. He was truly one of the sweetest people I’ve ever known. He was quick to make you laugh and to help in anyway he could. When I was in the hospital he came everyday to see me and make sure I was well. Godspeed and you take a piece of my heart. To his family I am so sorry and I pray for you and family.

It saddened me to hear this news. Every time I saw Matt he would always speak. I got to know him when he was a student at Gordon.
I saw Matt around Christmas and he was the same old Matt. He was always “hey Ms. Beverly”. I will miss him.

Very sorry to hear the loss of such a good young man. Matt was a reflection of such a great family and especially great parents and a true friend. I hadn’t gotten to see him much over the last several years but reflected on his family and successes from afar. Bob, Patti, Bobby, John, Richard, and family,
My heart breaks for you. I have so many wonderful memories of your family and especially Matt. Matt was always so kind to me and always spoke when he saw me. I know he had been taught to respect his elders, and he certainly did! He never failed to have a kind word and a smile. I know you will miss him greatly.
